Hello Blog World!

Well I'm new to this and pretty excited. I can't wait to share my every day life and make some friends along the way.

Here is a little about me: 

I live in California and I don't do well in cold weather. I love the sun, the beach and tanning. Most summer weekends when I'm off from work you can find me at my parents house tanning poolside. I love that the city I live in is 2 hours away from all places important, 2 hours to the beach, 2 hours to Las Vegas( very imporant...ya know what I'm sayin) 2 hours to LA. 

I have a boyfriend that means the world to me. We have been together for 5-1/2 years and I couldn't imagine life without him. Together we have grown so much, individually and matured as a couple. It's crazy to look back and see where we were in our lives when we first met and now. So much has changed. We partied every. single. day. back then. Now, occasionally we go out on the weekends. Don't get me wrong, we're still just as fun as we ever were, we just can't do it everyday, nor would we want to. We have 2 dogs, Ziggy and Kona who keep us pretty busy. I'm the only female in the house, so my boys (Mike & the dogs) take good care of me. I work Monday through Friday and have weekends off, Mike works in the oilfields so his usual schedule is working weeks at a time. It's hard, not knowing when he'll be off and when he's off, not knowing if he'll have to go back to work early, but I manage. He is the hardest working man I know. We have a  brand new house we moved into a year ago and I love it. I love that it is "ours." It's not completely put together, but I'm working on it.  We like to go camping when we can. Preferably at the beach on the dunes.  We just living life the most we can while we can, because the next things on our list is MARRIAGE and BABIES. WooOHoOO
